how lovely
love.
lovely love.
how could someone hate love?
or love hate?
you should love, love.
and hate, hate.
maybe that's the problem.
maybe
if we all loved love,
and hated hate,
would the world be a better place?
then all the love would be together,
and all the hate would stay together.
and the wouldn't meet each other at all.
I think things get messy when
love and hate collide.
which is why love/hate relationships
never work you see.
why is there both love AND hate in this world?
what if there was just love?
or just hate?
but there is both, so people disagree.
and things get messy.
love and hate.
hate and love.
I would love to have a lovely love.
wishful
wish, wish, wish
why do people always wish?
I wish to do this,
I wish to do that.
why don't you just do it instead?
why do people dream of stuff
and then think they can't do it.
so then they just wish about it?
because isn't that
what wishing is?
I wish to never wish.
I always want to be able to do
anything
I can dream of.
nothing to stop me
and make me start wishing
my wishes away...

missing.
when something is missing,
you miss it.
and when you miss something,
it's missing.
so when I miss you,
it means
you're missing
from my life.
you miss it.
and when you miss something,
it's missing.
so when I miss you,
it means
you're missing
from my life.
waitin in line.
waiting in line,
is a difficult, tricky and hard task
to manage
and accomplish.
I mean, first of all, it's having to choose which line to stand in.
and then once you've finally decided which line is the shortest,
and which line includes the people with the least number of items...
you get in line to wait.
and wait.
and wait.
and then you realise that when you look over to the cashier next to you,
and their line is moving way faster then yours.
but it's too late to switch over now.
or so you think...
because then the person before you can't decide whether they want
all their items bagged or not.
and then after they decide to go with bags, the cashier tells them it will cost them an extra 5 cents, so then they decide to switch back to no bags.
and then they have to run and get another item because the one they choose doesn't have a barcode number.
and then they insist to pull out and use every single coupon they've cut out of the newspaper.
and you look over to the line you should have switched over to but you thought it would be too late to, and it's got a whole new line of people...and you realise that if you had switched over, you would have been long gone already.
and just when you're about to pull out all your hair (or the hair that belongs to the person in front of you)
you realise you have forgotten your wallet at home,
and have just wasted 3801729837401824375123 hours...

life.
life.
can seem so big,
so much to do, so much to see
or not, much at all?
can you only see or do so much?
life.
can seem very small,
not ever enough time
to do everything you want to.
or can you?
everyone.
has been given a life
has been given a beginning and an end.
some may not be having a life though.
life.
a gift? a right?
some people want more life
some peopole want none
some people don't care about life at all.
life.
there is a purpose to everyones' life
there is a reason that we all live
some search long and hard
for their purpose.
when all along,
it's right there in front of them.
life is funny sometimes
it can play silly tricks on us.
life.
can seem so big, can seem so small...
what can I say, it's life!
can seem so big,
so much to do, so much to see
or not, much at all?

numbers.
numbers.
everything is numbered.
numbers are
made of nothing...
but also,
they make up everything.
they are important,
but can be annoying too.
they are everywhere
and nowhere
they aren't the same as words,
but words can spell them
and numbers can count
the letters to spell the number.
is
"two"
a word or a number?
(with three/3 letters I might add)
and is number a number? or a word?
or a number of words?
numbers never end,
and they may never start...
numbers, numbers, numbers
what would we do without them?
everything is numbered.
numbers are
made of nothing...

lock and key
a key.
hangs on a chain
alone.
no one knows
what it holds
but me.
alone.
some don't even notice
others, don't care.
its apart of me.
its apart of who I am.
its the only access
its the only door
to the old memories,
to the new beginnings,
it unlocks the door of a life
my life.
alone.
no one knows
what it means,
what it holds.
a key
hangs on my heart.
alone.
hangs on a chain
alone.
no one knows
what it holds
but me.
alone.
some don't even notice
others, don't care.
its apart of me.
its apart of who I am.

my life.
alone.
no one knows
what it means,
what it holds.
a key
hangs on my heart.
alone.
the jitters.
fuzzies, tickles, tingle-ys,
butterflies in you tummy
nervous, nauceous,
exctiedallatonce.
can't wait can wait.
come now, come never.
its all about now or never.
scared, kind of
shaky, sweaty palms.
shuffling feet
any moment now
its almost here.
brain freeze,
give it all you got.
go out there,
jump anyway,
adrenaline rush
keep you going
till the end.
its over already?
lets do this again!
butterflies in you tummy
nervous, nauceous,
exctiedallatonce.
can't wait can wait.
come now, come never.
its all about now or never.
scared, kind of

shuffling feet

its over already?
lets do this again!
forever and ever ?
forever and ever.
and ever and ever and ever.
how long IS that?
forever
how long will forever take?
am I living in forever,
or have I not reached it yet?
forever. and ever. and ever.
is there a beginning to forever?
what about an end?
the end is too soon,
but too far away.
it may never come,
but I know I'll die
someday.
is never the opposite of forever and ever?
if never happens never, ever.
and if forever happens forever, ever.
then,
forever ever will never ever end.
and never ever will forever be never.
I know how to end never!
just never ever end forever and ever.
because forever is forever.
and ever.
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and it never ever ever ends, and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever.
how long IS that?

the blues.
blue is the color of the ocean,
the sailor's salty sea.
home to many,
seagulls flock the beach
snow on a summers day.
the sand between your toes
and the wind in your hair.
everything's out of place-
but as pretty as a picture.
everywhere
the warm tast in the air.
and the smell of the sun
beating down on the earth
not a cloud in the sky,
as the sun sets slowly,
and the water- far away
turns to a reflection of the sky.
the deep blue, the big blue,
the blue, blue sea.
the sailor's salty sea.

time
seconds, minutes, hours
go by.
days, weeks, months, years
go by.
time flies past us.
time creeps up slowly.
time is always time.
living in time,
the good times, the bad times.
time keeps going,
never stops, never starts.
time has, time is, time will
have a good time!
time is important.
or is it?
don't be late! manage your time wisely!
why?
if time is always there, don't we have enough?
won't we have enough?
there is never enough time.
so enjoy it while you can.
time out, time in
time everywhere.
it took some time to write this,
but I'd say...
it was time well spent!
go by.
days, weeks, months, years
go by.

autumn.
I love fall.
its my favourite season.
the leaves on the trees change
red, orange, yellow, brown.
then they fall to the ground.
and you can step on the crunchy ones.
the wind blows around,
back to school means new beginnings.
fall coats, hats, boots and scarves.
fall drinks, and starbucks.
pumpkin pie, thanksgiving, apple cider.
corn mazes, cloudy skies.
with christmas and snow- just around the corner,
but still have time to carve a pumpkin or two.
sharpened pencils, brand new pens,
ready for school all over again.
summer's gone, and the tan lines fade away like
the memories.
and there's a cool chill
in the air.

the ocean.
the waves
just wash ashore.
sometimes crashing down,
sometimes slowly creeping out
then, right back in again.
as if they were shy.
but they always come back.
the waves never stop coming.
they're always there, always
will be.
they go on forever and ever.
just as vast as the ocean.
how big it is,
how strong and powerful,
how soft and gentle and soothing,
how colorful and unique,
how controlled-
but as free as can be.
the ocean,
a home to many,
a comfort to some,
a job, a vacation,
a place to be.
its always there,
a roadblack- sometimes trouble.
a roadway- opening doors.
traveling far, far away.
how big is the ocean?
with all the waves of the sea...
just wash ashore.
sometimes crashing down,
sometimes slowly creeping out
then, right back in again.
as if they were shy.

summer.
there is lots of things I like about summer.
I like the warm weather.
I like how you can wear flip-flops and shorts and tank tops.
everything looks prettier in the summer.
there's no school and you get a summer tan.
you get to go to the beach and smell like sunscreen.
slurpees always taste better in the summer.
summer has lots of bright colors.
the wind is warm and the trees are very green.
you can run through the sprinkler.
I also hate summer, because it makes me miss winter.

space
out there.
there is a lot of space.
don't you wonder what would happen if
you oculd fall off the earth?
would you just keep falling and falling?
how far would you fall?
what if you had a bungee cord and
bungee-jumped off the earth?
you would fall and fall and then spring
right back!
I would like to bungee jump into space
and touch a star.
I would collect some sparkley star dust.
and I would visit pluto, and stick a sticker
on him that said "you're awesome just the way you are"
and then I would come back to earth.
